Introduction. The increasing international competitiveness and proneness to conflict, global and regional instability determine the social importance of strengthening the “personnel resources” of the military and police ministries and make relevant the solutions of tasks related to optimization of learning and additional professional education. Materials and Methods. The applied methods include the method of biological feedback. There were 166 male respondents. The experimental sample comprises law enforcement officers of the following profiles: guard and convoy and sensory-motor specializations, as well as specialists of administrative-command activity. Results and Discussion. The article presents psychophysiological profiles of «successful and unsuccessful» specialists resulted from the stress modeling among people with different profiles of professionally important qualities. Psychophysiological profile of dominant sensory-motor activity is characterized by the normative absolute parameters of activation of the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, the vegetative balance index, the amplitude of the systolic wave of vascular activity, the skin-galvanic reaction, and relative indices of theta and beta rhythms of brain electrical activity. They determine the increased level of adaptive reserves and the absence of chronic stress in samples without functional load. The respondents of administrative-command and sensory-motor types of activities are characterized by a normative index of the vegetative balance and an index of activation of the subcortical centers under stress conditions, as well as the relative indices of the alpha and theta rhythms of brain electrical activity in background tests. These features determine the high level of stress resistance and functional safety of the central nervous system. The psychophysiological profile of specialists of administrative-command type of activity is characterized by a normative index of the vegetative balance (permissible rates of LF / HF less than 2.5) under stress conditions, which determines a high level of stress resistance. Conclusions. The authors outline the main objectives of the impact and the parameters of the central nervous system (CNS) and the autonomic nervous system (ANS) reflecting them. The most informative specified indicators of psychophysiological peculiarities in groups of persons professionally reliable and fit enable the authors to extrapolate this data both to cadets and candidates for the position.
