Fedor Abramov's story "Pelagea": methodological aspect of description

This article characterizes a correspondence excursion as a form of education in literature lessons. Its features and methodology are briefly described. The available points of view regarding the place of use and possible options for use are summarized. In addition to the theoretical review, the course and analysis of the lesson in the study of F.A. Abramov "Pelageya". The approbation took place in class 11 at the secondary school in the city of Severodvinsk. The results of the lesson showed that the correspondence tour activates the cognitive activity of students, which contributes to a better assimilation of knowledge.
