Preparation of linguistics students for intercultural communication in aspect of new educational paradigm

The current educational paradigm is teaching a foreign language first and foremost incorporates training of a specialist for intercultural communication. In social and pedagogical terms, training of a linguist for the intercultural communication is represented as the process of teaching methods of establishing contacts of value and achieving mutual understanding. An important category in the intercultural communication is the communicative competence. A new model of the educational process implies that appropriate conditions should be created in order to form key competences, i.e., the system of universal expertise and skills, and gain an experience in an independent activity and an individual responsibility of the trainees. In regard to the linguistic education, as the key competences may be recognized such an expertise and such an experience in the intercultural communication that are aimed at the formation of "the secondary language personality."
