Nowadays hotel industry experiences some fundamental changes in the process of doing business. Modern circumstances present opportunities of further hotel business development and, stimulate hotels to pay more attention to labor motivation. These circumstances require full revision of current motivation systems. The purpose of study is to improve methods of labor motivation currently used in hotels. Methods are selection, systematization, analysis, observation, comparison and questionnaire. The article has the results according to which the authors have systematized the existing theories of labor motivation and socio-psychological factors influencing this concept. The authors have carried out the analysis of the world and domestic experience of implementing effective methods of stimulating the work of employees in the hotel business and a comprehensive assessment of the level of satisfaction with the work of reception and accommodation service employees. The scientific novelty of study lies in the author's systematization of existing motivational theories and socio-psychological factors of labor motivation, as well as in the actualization of a methodological approach to assessing the level of satisfaction with the work of front desk employees. The practical significance of the research lies in the approbation of suggested method, also it allows to create a new motivational system for hotel.
