Relevance. The process of the formation of motor skills of a person takes place throughout his life. This process is especially noticeable at the preschool age. This is the time when the child actively masters vital motor actions, the absence of which is the main cause of injury in the form of bruises, abrasions, etc. It is possible to reduce children's injuries of preschoolers by increasing attention to the formation process of their coordination abilities. However, the solution to this problem is complicated by the lack of scientifically grounded objective criteria for the assessment of coordination abilities at preschool age in the system of physical education of preschoolers. The situation indicates the existence of a problem, as well as the urgency of its solution.
