Axiological structure of success in the representation of students of humanitarian and technical specialties

The most important task of modern Russian universities is the development of the potential for personal and professional activity. The basic condition for such activity is the expressed motivation for achieving success. The phenomenon of success is a meta-factor of motivation. It determines the strength, direction and allows you to evaluate the effectiveness of an expedient human behavior. At the same time, it has a complex structure in the context of the vital activity of the individual in the modern society. The axiological component occupies an important place in it. In the article the data of research of features of value structure of success of modern Russian youth are given. Respondents are students of several higher educational institutions of Krasnoyarsk. The sample size is 591 people. The research used the technique "Motivation to Achieve Students' Success in the University" S.A. Pakulina. A hierarchy of the significance of the value aspects of success was identified. Trends common to the entire sample of students were determined and comparison was made between groups of students studying in the humanities and technical specialties, boys and girls. The study showed that the general trend in the hierarchy of value aspects of success for students is the priority of internalized values. At the same time, students of humanitarian specialties in comparison with students of technical specialties, girls in comparison with boys, appreciate the significance of the internalized aspects of success above. Among the internalized values for students of the humanities and girls, the importance of achieving a high level of personal characteristics is higher, and students of technical specialties and young men attach greater importance to achieving high quality of activity. Also the study identified and characterized the motivational contradiction in the students' views: the combination of values of different motives of selfactualization and success achievement.
