Acmeology in the context of problems of education quality: the theory of maturity in engineers’ professional and creative abilities development

The article highlights the topical issue of improving the quality of higher education - creation of effective conditions for personal and professional growth of future specialists-engineers, developing their abilities to solve life and professional problems. The article also focuses on the essence of the concept of "acmeological theory of maturity in the formation of professional and creative abilities of future engineers”. The author defines maturity as acmeological category with bipolar nature, which manifests itself in the form of local types of maturity of people as individuals, personalities and stakeholders, as well as global maturity. Implementation of the author's approaches to the development of professional and creative skills of future engineers required to work out the stages of the development process of professional and creative abilities of engineers, taking into consideration the acmeological theory of maturity: reproductive-normative, normative-creative and creative. The author comes to the conclusion that the essence of applying acmeology in the formation of professional and creative abilities of future engineers is in conducting comprehensive research on the integrity of individuals who have the degree of maturity when their individual, personal and subjective-activity characteristics are studied in unity and in interrelation in order to enhance the achievement of the highest results.
