In the article, the authors present the results of a study of the level of subjectivity and the degree of life satisfaction of women aged 25-35: mothers of preschool children and women without children. Subjectivity is the ability to be a subject of activity, to be reflexive, decisive, independent and free in their actions in achieving goals. The premise of the study is the hypothesis that subjectivity can have an impact on life satisfaction, because it is associated with the phenomenal side of life. A person, reflecting on his experience, comprehends the value content of events and this is reflected in the subjective feeling of satisfaction. Understanding the relationship between these categories reveals the mechanisms of subjectivity's influence on life satisfaction for possible development of programs aimed at increasing women's life satisfaction.
