Identification and systematization of development and attractiveness factors of the Republic of Crimea in the ecological and ethnographic tourism development

The authors investigate influence of external factors on the tourism development in the Republic of Crimea in general and environmental and ethnographic tourism in particular. The internal factors of the ecological tourism development include natural and geographical features of the region, climatic and environmental conditions, the availability of valuable natural resources as an object of tourist demand; ecological environment of the region; sociocultural and demographic features of the region. The internal factors of the ethnographic tourism development in the region include the multiethnicity of the region’s population, the traditional culture of ethnic groups; the presence of a unique combination of various cultural and ethnographic complexes on the territory of one region, as well as the development of the tourism industry and marketing factors. The authors systematize the factors of attractiveness of ecological tourism in the Republic of Crimea. The most attractive ethnographic objects are highlighted, reflecting the cultural and everyday features of the Crimean peoples for visiting by tourists. The natural and ethnographic objects attractive for ecological tourism is the subject of the research. The purpose of this study is identification and systematization of the factors of attractiveness and uniqueness of the Republic of Crimea in the context of the development of ecological and ethnographic tourism with the aim of further elaborating a mechanism for sustainable environmental and economic development of recreation of the Republic of Crimea. The research methodology is based on general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, system analysis, generalization and comparison, as well as statistical data on specially protected natural areas of the Republic of Crimea, the state of pollution and environmental protection, sociodemographic indicators of the development of ecological tourism, and indicators of the development of the tourism industry. The results of the study are of practical value for the developing a mechanism for sustainable environmental and economic development of recreation of the Republic of Crimea.
