Military-patriotic education of the youth as one of the main ares of activity of state and public organisations in the 1950-1980's (based on the materials of Irkutsk region and Buryat ASSR)

This article deals with one of the main directions of the state and public organisations' activity in the 50s-80s in the area of new development - Irkutsk Region and the Buryat Republic, namely to the military-patriotic education. The author identifies and analyses the basic forms of military-patriotic education in the period of study, and concludes that the experience of the Komsomol Organisation should be used nowadays.
