Rakachev V. N. Urbanization and specifics of settlement across the Kuban region and Stavropol region in the 1930-ies to 1950-ies

The paper presents an expanded review of the urbanization progress in the Kuban and Stavropol regions over the three decades. The review explored the data on general USSR population censuses carried out in 1939 and 1959, and documents from the archives. The study has shown that, despite some general trends have come to light each region had some specifics of countryside’ urbanization.
