In the article the author analyzes the term «creative activity” as a special kind of activity which has a creative and personal colouring. It develops an active approach to acquiring knowledge in a creative way. It includes needs and core values, goal setting, enjoying the process of learning and developing your self-esteem. The relevance of the study is explained by onrush of science and technology along with transformations of the society into a post-industrial and information oriented one, by the transition of a technological era into a systemic and technological era and by changing the requirements to the man as an active and free personality. In the first rate these changes demand a creative activity, creative consciousness to be developed so as to be able to work with a big flow of information. In this turn top priority values of a modern man are cognitive dynamism, long-term vision, self-organization and interaction. That’s why the author insists on introducing generative knowledge into learning process as it leads to building new knowledge, new implications and new perception. This new learning process involves creating specific terms for creativity. As a result core values influenced by creativity may contribute to your personality and self-confidence development. The author gives consideration to the necessity of acquiring creative activity which is gaining in importance nowadays. Besides the author singles out the criteria and key features of this activity and gives a thorough look at different methods of acquiring new skills. In the article the author highlights that such important skills as critical thinking, analyzing and finding solutions to problems, skills of arguing and coming to terms, working at projects, monitoring and controlling the results are gaining an upper hand and help a specialist to enjoy sustainable employability in the field of knowledge.
