Теоретически исследуется проблема ресурсов власти. Особое внимание уделяется соотношению насильственных и ненасильственных ресурсов, обоснованию положения о том, что в современном обществе происходит сдвиг в диапазоне ресурсов в пользу их ненасильственных форм. Обозначается специфика проблемы в модернизирующемся обществе.
