Cell-free circulating DNA in plasma. Possibility of application in oncology

This review presents data on cell-free circulating DNA (cfDNA) of blood plasma and its biological properties. Advantages and limitations of application of cfDNA analysis in the routine oncological practice are considered in detail. The description of new high-sensitivity methods allowing to carry out the cfDNA analysis is presented.
