Comparative analysis of the effects of some types of recreational gymnastic exercises on the technical university female students

The article presents the comparative analysis of the effects of three popular types of recreational gymnastic exercises (Latin dance aerobics with exercise balls, classical aerobics with dumb-bells and Hatha yoga with Tibetan exercises) on the physical fitness level of female students of the technical university. The tests of physical fitness level and the central nervous system activities of two experimental students' groups revealed the impact of these recreational gymnastics types on some specific indicators. The state of functional systems was evaluated by Ruffier-Dickson's test and Stange's test. The received data were processed by Student's t-test. Based on the results of the comparative analysis, the authors recommend combining or alternating these types of recreational gymnastic exercises to maintain students' health during an academic year.
