In the article, based on a brief review of the mathematical apparatus of two-way ANOVA in a discrete binary and continuous scales comparative analysis is made in the areas of possible limitations of each of these two options. To solve the problems of split students preparedness assess and the complexity of tasks used for their test and control, a logistic model of G. Rasch, that has a universal character and allows both to produce the desired assessment in both scales, and to extrapolate results planning for the necessary and sufficient to achieve the desired effectiveness of the training cycle is proposed.

Learning efficiency, the degree of preparedness of students, the degree of complexity of control tasks, two-way anova, probability of success, logistic model g. rasch
