Увеальная меланома - опухоль нейроэктодермального происхождения, развивающаяся из меланоцитов увеального тракта (хориоидеи, цилиарного тела, радужки). В рутинной практике врача-онколога увеальная меланома встречается нечасто. Это заболевание является редкой разновидностью меланомы, составляя приблизительно 3,5% от всех зарегистрированных случаев меланомы. Увеальная меланома отличается от меланомы кожи и меланомы слизистых как по клиническому течению (позднее метастазирование с преимущественным поражением печени), так и по молекулярно-генетическим свойствам (низкая частота мутаций в генах BRAF и NRAS, наличие мутаций в генах GNAQ и GNA11). И если в лечении метастатической меланомы кожи уже достигнуты значительные успехи, созданы и зарегистрированы ингибиторы тирозинкиназ BRAF и MEK (вемурафениб, дабрафениб, траметиниб и др.) и моноколональные антитела для блокирования CTLA-4, PD-1 и PD-L1 (ипилимумаб, ламбролизумаб, ниволумаб и др.), то для увеальной меланомы активно ведут поиск новых мишеней направленной противоопухолевой терапии.
