The article concerns some modern translations of the Bible into the Belarusian language. A historical review of the translations made during the period from the end of the 20th to the beginning of the 21st centuries is presented in the article. Though the history of the translation of the Holy Bible into the Belarusian language dates back to the 16th century (according to some research - even earlier) the language of that period differed a lot from a modern one. A modern history of translations has been traced since the beginning of the 20th century. But the Belarusian language of that period had no common standard grammatical and lexical structure. There were permanent philological discussions. That is why after the decline of those philological discussions later translations of the Holy Bible into the Belarusian language are of special interest. Furthermore, the article includes the analysis of the extracts from some translations. Because of a great number of the translations, the description of some translations is organized in a chronological order according to the date of their editions. The article deals with the translations of the Holy Bible made by the representatives of different denominations.
