Alterations to the meaning of the concept "an amount of narcotic drug" at different stages of advancement of the criminal legislation in the Russian federation

The paper considered some issues of legal development of a concept "an amount of narcotic drugs", presenting a review of factual alterations to the Criminal Code in the field of definitions made to the amount of narcotic drugs, and explored some trends of criminal legislation’ advancement with regard to measures counteracting the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs.
