Online communities in the context of internet-solidarity

This article defines a concept of «internet-solidarity» and shows its unique attributes and specific terms of the formation. Internet is being regarded as social space, in which the exchange of the social capital is taking place, as well as the concentration of social interaction. These practices contribute to the inclusion of «atomized» society’ individuals into certain social structure and the strengthening of social ties. Axiological meaning of the informal internet communities is noted in the context of the formation of micro social solidarity.
