Russia and Ukraine: targets for political extremity within the frame of globalization?

The paper made an attempt to observe the geopolitical situation in the world today, the author focused attention on the risks and threats to Russia's national security being originated from the Western World that intentionally strived, according to the author, over the past decade to steer policy of Ukrainian authorities towards confrontation in relations with the Russian State.
