Russian historical science development in China in 1920-1940 years

This article talks about the Russian history science development in China, analyzes the features of cultural historical heritage from 1920s to1940s, especially pays attention on particular Russian expatriate historians, and comes to the conclusion through research that under the condition of exile, they successfully conserved their historical development particularity. 1922-40 after October revolution and Civil war in China there was a large number of the Russian refugees. The number of emigrants from 1920 to 1925 has reached peak - 100 thousand people. To the beginning of the 1960th years, the Russian emigrants living in Harbin to the whole current of 60 years there are three generations. Among them these intellectuals was representative of Russian intelligentsia including historians much. In the 1920-1940th Russian intelligentsia in the different cities of China has created tens of scientific research and academic groups and organizations in which hundreds of the scientific different scientific directions of knowledge worked, among them there are representatives of historical science. Historians N.V. Ustryalov, V.M. Alekseev, M.N. Yershov, Engelfeld V.V., Esperov N.E. Strelkov N.A. were active researchers., N.I. Nikiforov, V.A. Ryazanovsky, I.S. Ivan, P.E. Skachkov, Melikhov G.V., etc., who have made a unique contribution. In historical science some of them were known since imperial times. Association of certain scientists-historians has helped the Russian historical science to survive and develop in the organizations and the academic groups in the foreign land, despite various difficulties. A main objective - these academic groups connection of the Russian torn-off scientists, historians and assistance to scientific and educational work, whenever possible the publication of scientific works, creation of scientific associations of the Russian intellectuals in China, as well as in all Russian abroad.
