Development of reflexion and empathy in schoolchildren through tolerance-oriented games

The article is devoted to the development of tolerance in interpersonal relationships among teenagers. The author focuses on methods which help to form a tolerant personality of schoolchildren during out-of-school educational activities. She pays attention to play activity of teenagers as an indirect method of education. The author considers a series of fundamental works on teenagers' play activity and comes to an essential conclusion, that it is tolerance oriented. She also describes the internal and external ways of reflexion manifestation and underlines that emphatic potential of a child can be developed through games. The given article is an educational game project designed to develop the ability of settling conflicts through empathy and reflexion. It proves that tolerance-oriented play activity creates conditions for tolerance manifestation and development in the sphere of interpersonal relationss.
