Psychopathological traits and phenomenology of adolescent phase-maniacal disorders

Purpose of investigation was to study structure and dynamic of endogenous adolescent maniacal disorders for clarification of diagnosis criteria, elaboration of typology and differentiated therapy. On material of investigation by clinical-psychopathological and clinical follow-up method of 174 patients of adolescent age with bipolar and unipolar affective disorder with follow-up more than 10 years we have distinguished psychopathological traits and phenomenological maniacal states of adolescent age. In the article we have described atypia of psychopathological manifestations of adolescent phase-maniacal disturbances in endogenous affective disease associated with pathoplastic and pathogenetic influence of age factor and concerning modification of basic components of triad of endogenous maniacal syndrome.
