This article discusses the current problems of training young athletes of martial arts before competitions. During the preparation for such an event, a young athlete experiences a strong psychological load, which adversely affects his training. That is why every coach needs to know the right approach to their pupil. Also, each athlete experiences a strong emotional tension during the fight, due to which the fear of creating the right decision to achieve victory in the fight is manifested. Such stresses include: emotional and operational. Each athlete during the training process must develop a spontaneous conduct of the fight, that is, the set technique cannot always work, and at some certain point the athlete needs to rebuild himself by performing atypical techniques, which is discussed in this article.
