The priority of subject-subject education relations with students

The article analyses the functions of university staff in forming the subject-subject relationships with students as an important prerequisite of their willingness to productive cooperation with partners in the future-professional activity. The emphasis is placed on the students' self-perception as a person actively interacting with the others. The role of subject-subject relations in the education process is described. The priority of subject-subject relations as the means to achieve higher quality in education is proved. The results were obtained by observation, the study of scientific and educational literature on the educational relations between instructors and students. The survey of instructors and students was made aimed to evaluate the experience of realization of subject-subject relations. The data on the experience of pedagogical activity was gathered through interviews with university lecturers.
