The author of this article discusses how the issue of the relationship between man and nature is presented in the liturgical tradition of the Orthodox Church. Te author highlights the fact that in all of the liturgical texts (hymnography and prayers) and in the liturgical objects (churches, icons) used by the church, man and nature coexist in harmony. In the fields of church art, one finds not only the use of mater in the building of churches, but also a certain dialog with mater, a personal relationship between man and the world of God’s love and wisdom revealed in the material. As the author points out, even in the very process of the dialog between man and God there is a need for creation to participate
