Improving the deformation and strength characteristics of crushed stone-mastic asphalt concrete based on bitumen modified with a colloidal additive

Бесплатный доступ

The results of laboratory studies of changes in the deformation and strength characteristics of crushed stone-mastic asphalt concrete using a bituminous binder modified with a colloidal additive are presented; the mechanism of the modifier's influence on the change in the microstructure of the binder and the main properties of bitumen are described. By extraction method, a colloidal additive is synthesized in an acidic solvent - the product of collagen dissolution. The introduction of a colloidal additive into the bituminous binder allows you to adjust its properties such as the softening temperature (according to the Ring and Ball method), the depth of penetration of the needle, and the apparent viscosity. Crushed stone-mastic asphalt concrete based on bitumen modified with a colloidal additive has increased physical and mechanical characteristics. The dependence of the change in the properties of bituminous binder and lime on the amount of the modifier is established.
