Proverbs and sayings as a reflection of folk ideas about time in the Khakass language

This article attempts to describe a temporal fragment of the Khakass language reality presented in the form of Proverbs and sayings. As a result of the research, it is revealed that one of the main components of the ethnic identity of the Khakas, as well as other Turkic peoples, is the idea of time as an ethno-linguistic and cultural unit. The obtained results of the research can serve as a basis for further typological and ethnolinguoculturological research.
