Политическое участие в странах Европы: общественный контекст и социально-культурные неравенства

Статья посвящена сравнительному исследованию политической активности граждан в странах Европы, выраженности в них политических неравенств и их зависимости от социеталь-ного контекста. Данные, собранные в Европейском социальном исследовании 2008 г. - репрезентативные национальные опросы, 28 стран, и сведения об экономических, социальных и политических особенностях этих странах, зафиксированные европейской статистикой и научными проектами, анализировались с использованием статистических методов двухуровневого моделирования. Изучавшиеся страны, согласно полученным результатам, очень сильно отличаются по уровню политического участия. Эти различия связаны в первую очередь с показателями развития социального государства, способности контролировать коррупцию и экономического развития. Политическая активность получает распространение в том случае, когда деятельность властных институтов тесно связана с интересами широких слоев и подотчетна им. Рассматриваются политические неравенства, обусловленные социальным структурированием и современными идеологическими конфликтами в европейских обществах.
