The article addresses the relevant topic of veneration of the Holy Grand Prince Vladimir, Equal to the Apostles. The main subject of the study is the perception in the Russian religious consciousness of the place of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir among all Russian miracle workers. The study was conducted using the works of hymnographic and panegyric genres of the period between the XVI and the XVIII centuries, praising the host of Russian saints as a whole. The authors of these few works emphasize the dominant role of Prince Vladimir, the christianizer of Russia, in the history of Russian Orthodoxy. The article shows the significant contribution of the Old Believers to the preservation of the feast of all Russian miracle workers and the Church’s veneration of Prince Vladimir as the formalizer of this host of saints in the XVIII and the XIX centuries. In the 1730s, the Vyg Old Believers’ Community not only created a new literary piece dedicated to all Russian miracle workers, but also for the first time created their consolidated iconography - the Image of All Russian Miracle Workers. The apostolic activity of Prince Vladimir, who adopted Orthodoxy from Byzantium, served as the starting point of the historiographical concept created by the Vyg Old Believers in the first third of the XVIII century.
