Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with the phenomenon of patchwork religiosity, which has become particularly relevant in the last 20-30 years due to the processes of secularization and increasing pluralism in the religious field. Patchwork religiosity is one of the fundamental concepts of the sociology of religion, which allows us to understand the rules upon which the religiosity of today’s young people is based. The author shows that the worldview and religious philosophy of Leo Tolstoy can be seen as a variant of a patchwork religion composed of heterogeneous elements, linked together by certain principles. The basis of this connection are the integral concepts of “divine instinct” and “rational love”, the content of which is considered in connection with the general ideas of Leo Tolstoy.
