Parenthetical constructions in the works of Thomas Mann

Within the framework of this article, paranthetical insertion constructions or parenthetics are considered on the example of the work of the German writer T. Mann "Der Zauberberg". The author believes that the deviation from the norm in the syntactic aspect of this writer expresses his individual style and has a pragmatic effect on the reader. With the help of a certain sentence structure using parenthetical constructions, the author influences the reader's perception. The paper also considers the classification of parenthetical contributions.
