The Hippocratic paradigm and methodological, axiological principles of contemporary medicine

The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of methodological and axiological foundations of different models of traditional medicine and modern academic medicine. It demonstrates the similarity of the Hippocrates system with other systems of traditional medicine. Paradigmatic differences between academic and traditional medicine have been analysed.
