Perception of the body at pregnant women was investigated. The study involved 67 women aged 20 to 40 years, including 32 pregnant women and 35 non-pregnant women. It was found that pregnant women are more satisfied with the appearance and parameters of their own body, and also revealed that pregnant women are less anxious about weight gain. Correlation analysis showed that in the body image of pregnant women there are the same corelations between the components as in the control group. Also in body image of pregnant women there are specific correlations of scale «Overweight Preoccupation» (MBSRQ) with the scales «Appearance Evaluation», «Body Satisfaction» (BISS) and «Self-Classified Weight». A picture of a man made by pregnant women showed the presence of two strategies: 43 % of women portrayed a slender girl in accordance with the existing standards of beauty in the culture, 53 % portrayed a thick or pregnant woman.
