Article is dedicated to the study of association of functional asymmetry with psychopathological features of endogenous affective disorders. According to modern studies, there are reliable scientific data on influence of functional asymmetry on psychopathology of focal lesion of a brain. However, results, concerning roles of functional asymmetry in manifestations of endogenous mental disorders have contradictory character. It is supposed that variants of functional asymmetry are associated with occurrence of some psychopathological phenomena. Materials: 46 patients with endogenous affective disorders are examined. For all patients the individual profile of asymmetry is formed and careful registration of clinical phenomena is carried out. Results: Senesthopathias most often are found in patients with the symmetric profile of motor asymmetries. Sleep disorders arise only in subjects with the left or symmetric profile of sensory asymmetries. Apathy arises in patients with sensory-motor dissociation reliably more often. The combination of derealization and depersonalization arises statistically more often in group of patients with greater lateralization of sensory functions. Conclusions: Reliable association of psychopathological manifestations of endogenous affective disorders with different indicators of functional asymmetry is found.
