Features of translation of Russian behavioral verbs into Vietnam

The article is devoted to the analysis of the semantics of Russian and Vietnamese behavioral verbs. Structurally different languages are characterized by the unity in the selection of semantic models of behavior, such as “bragging”, “self-indulgence”, “deception”, but the composition of the groups is different. In Russian language certain types of behavior are indicated with the help of verb lexicon. In Vietnamese language verbal phraseological turns preserve metaphorical images. In Russian the object of assessment is usually the subject of behavior. In Vietnamese actions are evaluated, the focus is on the act itself. Russian verbs of behavior are translated into Vietnamese thanks to verb-nominal phrases, which include the element of performing any actions and Vietnamese words similar to the Russian ones “to do” and “to do”.
