The article discusses the features of the clinical picture in patients with psychosomatic and somatoform disorders causing problems in medication adherence, lesser effect of therapeutic, rehabilitative and preventive measures, the need for long-term maintenance therapy appointments. Possible ways to overcome with the use of psychotherapy and psychocorrection are described.
