Ensuring sustainable development and competitiveness of the hotel industry

The article is devoted to the regional management of the hotel industry in terms of its modernization and development according to the principle of sustainability in the conditions of transition to a green economy and ensuring its competitiveness. The author considers the positive and negative features of the hotel industry development. The article analyzes its development in Syria and identifies the main problems and its prospects in the context of economic recovery in the region.
