Ensuring safety of making deals with derivatives

The article deals with the historical aspects of the emergence and development of the derivatives market in Russia and abroad. The list is presented and the economic essence of the following financial risks inherent in transactions with derivatives is disclosed: market, interest rate, currency, economic, country, legal, inflation, settlement risks, as well as the risk of default and liquidity risk. The main directions of development of the Russian derivatives market in the field of ensuring safety of making deals with these instruments have been explored.
