An effective tool for the development and transformation of enterprises and organizations in the context of the modernization of society and the growing need for human capital should be the work with young professionals. Young professionals are a long-term investment in personnel, which pays off only on the condition of a painstaking and careful attitude to the principles of its formation. Therefore, a focus on attracting young professionals becomes a priority for the personnel policy of enterprises. In this article, young professionals are considered as a specific category of labor resources, in addition, the results of interviews with heads of enterprises and organizations of the city of Ulyanovsk, conducted in order to identify and analyze interest in young professionals. Based on the interpretation of the concept of "young specialist", the article reveals the approaches to this concept, with its signs identified. In the course of work activity, a young specialist needs to maintain the level of education that has been achieved, and also bring to perfection his knowledge, skills and abilities, learn such methods and techniques that can ensure a continuous process of self-education, since now all this is the key to effective professional activity and successful career growth...
