The article reveals the relevance of the issue of cadets’ professional-digital competence formation. It analyzes key concepts, defines the professional-digital competence and determines its composition. The principles system is characterized using cybernetic approach. A methodical plan to form cadets’ professional-digital competence by means of cybernetic management is presented. The article determines the specific features of the algorithm application of a cybernetic control sequence to the formation of cadets’ information competence exemplified by computer science training. It identifies the most effective forms and methods of training. It pays particular attention to the assignments for practical work and self-study, and to the feedback on students’ work. Teachers in their professional activities can use the results of the research.
