The article analyzes the lexical material of the third book "Zakhireye Kharazmshahi" by Seyyed Ismail Jurjani, the famous Iranian scientist of the XI-XII centuries. The author believes that semantic relationship plays an important role of the formation of language structure, and one of the tasks of lexical semantics is to study the polysemy of lexical units. Studies of conceptual links between the words (lexical groups) such as synonyms, antonyms, polysemy etc. allow to determine the level and method of their usage in transformation of word meanings in the Persian language (in a particular historical period of language development). As part of the research, the author analyzes the lexical units that have one of the types of semantic relationships - lexical polysemy. Lexical units of the Persian language, like in many other languages, have different conceptual relations that can be seen in the lexical groups. It is noted that Jurjani uses synonyms to make the language more expressive and bright, and in many ways he has reached his goal, presenting the material of the book in a bright and clear for a reader style. During the analysis, it was determined that words used in combination with other words in composite phrases acquire a new meaning under the influence of other words and expressions, therefore each word can have several meanings.
