Cultural and esthetic competence of a primary school teacher: formation problems in the system of professional high education

The aim of this article is to analyze structural components and the main problems of formation of cultural and esthetic competence of a primary school teacher in the system of professional high education. Cultural and esthetic competence of a primary school teacher is a dialectic unity of humanitarian, artistic, professional and pedagogic components of a system which are necessary personal quality of a modern specialist. The author suggests creating a special educational environment in order to form these qualities.
