The cognitive unconscious: on some aspects of unconscious cognition

Бесплатный доступ

The problems of cognition have been relevant in philosophy for ages. The latest achievements in the field of cognitive science have clearly shown that the process of human cognition could not only occur in the conscious but also unconsciously. Nowadays, all the unconscious processes of receiving, processing and applying of information are generalized under the concept of "cognitive unconscious", which becomes one of the most widely discussed concepts in cognitive science. The article examines several aspects and possibilities of unconscious cognition. The author focuses on the experiments and studies of J. Piaget, H. Ebbinghaus, V. Snegirev and the discoveries of modern psychophysiology and cognitive psychology.
