In the article, results of the implementation of complex theme of research work of Mental Health Research Institute “Clinical-biological and social-psychological regularities of formation of non-psychotic mental disorders under conditions of Siberia (ontogenetic and rehabilitative aspects)”, 2013-2015 have been presented. Epidemiological research of prevalence of non-psychotic mental disorders (NPMD) in the Siberian region has revealed positive association between basic indices of morbidity, unemployment and level of poverty in the period of growth of unemployment and acute social-economic crisis (1994-1999); for off-peak period of the unemployment (2000-2010) - negative interrelationship, that testifies to independently acting factors that determine these indices. The state of mental health of pedagogues who work at urban and rural secondary schools, at correction schools and specialized correction boarding schools has been studied. It has been identified that overwhelming number of pedagogues (68-74 %) had pre-clinical forms of mental disturbances irrespective from system of education. Age dynamics of development of the personality of hysterical make-up over three main periods: child-adolescent, mature and later (pre-senile) have been investigated. Clinical characteristics of dissociative spectrum disorders in patients with different levels of manifestation of dissociative type of reaction have been presented. Peculiarities of hysterical manifestations in women of climacteric age have been revealed and structure of NPMD, which frequency did not depend on presence or absence of hysterical manifestations in the anamnesis of these patients, has been presented. Activation of lipid peroxidation in patients with neurotic disorders which is expressed in increase in concentration of malondialdehyde in the erythrocytes and serum of blood of patients has been revealed. Contribution of immune response into adverse course of organic NPMD and formation of organic personality disorder has been identified. The findings have formed the basis of development of methods of prognosis of the course of NPMD, valeological, preventive and psychotherapeutic programs oriented at maintenance of mental health of the population.
