The problem of implicit meanings representation in translation

The article describes cognitive attitude to modality, modality in different languages, the problem of the implicit modal meanings translation based on M.A. Bulgakov's novel "The Master and Margarita". Special attention is paid to the difficulties of the implicit meanings translation in the text, as well as the means of the implicit modal meanings expression.
