Article is devoted to the theme of state policy in the field of ecological education or education for sustainable development. The ecological policy is understood as a state policy in environmental problem context. It is told about necessity of development the concept of ecological education, the priorities of its maintenance which are starting with its basic purpose: to promote personal growth and development of each member of society for preservation the common system «nature - society».
