This article discusses the empirical study of life orientations of students of different specialties and their interrelation with the professional becoming. The main objectives of the study: to conduct a theoretical analysis of life orientations, to make a block of psychodiagnostic techniques for the study of life orientations of students of different specialties, to conduct an empirical study of the prevailing life orientations of students of different specialties and their interrelation with individual and personal characteristics, to summarize and analyze the results of the study, to offer practical recommendations for psychological support of students of different specialties.
