Investigation of the possibility of obtaining a fire-free brick using solid asbestos-cement waste

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents the results of studies on the method of disposal of solid asbestos-cement waste to produce materials in which the waste acts as a filler in compositions with inorganic binders or as an independent binder. It is shown that with an increase in the pressing pressure of raw mixtures, the strength and hydrophysical properties of the samples increase. An effective technology for the production of bricks based on asbestos-cement waste has been developed. Estimated technical and economic indicators for the developed compositions and technologies show the economic feasibility of brick production by hyperpressing using secondary waste. At the same time, the cost of products is reduced by 20 - 25% compared with silicate brick.
